A Little About Media
Media Ministries is a growing and exciting ministry at the Loma Linda University church. The ministry was started over 20 years ago by members who had a desire to share the worship experience at LLUC with those in the community, especially patients at the Loma Linda University Medical Center. Now that signal travels thousands of miles into North, Central and South America as well around the world via the Internet via the Loma Linda Broadcasting Network (LLBN). Media Ministries involves over 150 trained volunteers, working together to produce close to 200 events a year. And without a doubt, there's always room for you! Here are ways to get involved.

Volunteer Media Crew
Each of our six crews consist of about 25 people working in a variety of technical and non-technical positions. Volunteers receive extensive training and certification in specific areas of production. Anually social events include a formal appreciation banquet and other get-togethers

Media Staff
Every crew member has the opportunity to join the Media Staff, a decision-making body made up of a dozen teams with specialized areas of interest. As members of the Media Staff, volunteers are empowered to make real decisions relating to media at the University Church.

Media Center Crew Member
Most volunteers also have an opportunity to join the Media Center Crew. The Media Center at LLUC is the church's production firm, working with other ministries, non-profits and commercial clients to produce professional media events and products. Media Center Crew members are compensated for production services.

Ministry Opportunities
The ministry in Media Ministries has more to do than just with those who are blessed by our broadcasts and events. Several opportunities for personal growth are offered specifically for media crew members, including small group discipleship training and participation in supporting an overseas mission project.
