From Here to Eternity

Loma Linda University church is a Seventh-day Adventist Church. Adventist. We believe in the second advent of Jesus. His first coming was in humility in Bethlehem; his second coming will be in glory to take us to be with him where he is, as he put it in John 14.

The haunting question for many, though, is when? We live two thousand years removed from his first coming. And though countless believers have prophesied and predicted his return, we are still here. Waiting.

So how are we to live when he hasn't returned? How do we faithfully wait for Jesus to come?

The young church in ancient Thessalonica had similar questions and concerns. The apostle Paul spoke into their lives with two letters. It is to those two letters that we turn our focus in this series. In those letters, Paul helps us understand how to live From Here to Eternity.
